Staff at Emneth Nursery and Children’s Centre made sure the children had a memorable last day of term as they held a special Christmas party.

Staff donned their aprons to cook a traditional Christmas dinner for around 90 children, aged from babies to four years.

Father Christmas also came along to see the tots and gave each of them their own present.

There were lots of festive activities for the children to enjoy, including party games and even a dancing fairy.

A spokesperson from the children’s centre said: “The children all had a lovely time. There was a lot going on and we ran a rotating set of activities. So some went through and danced with the fairy while others went in with Santa.”

It was an exhausting day for staff who were all glad to have a sit down at the end and prepare themselves for celebrating Christmas again at home.

The nursery is now closed for the Christmas break but will reopen, along with many of the local schools, on January 8.
