Pupils at the Alderman Payne School in Parson Drove did plenty of stirring on Friday when they put their creative skills to the test.
As part of the school’s annual Fenland Week, the children used wooden spoons to create scarecrows.
Some of their ideas were based around the school celebrating its 80th year and events which had happened in that year in particular.
There were eight winners, which included one adult, from Reception through to Year 6.
The adult entry was judged by the children and there were prizes for the winners.
