Media students at Cromwell Community College showed off their work in a special presentation afternoon at the Chatteris secondary school on Thursday.
The students are all coming to the end of their Creative and Media Diploma, a two year course that brings together different aspects of the profession.
The five stalls set up at the festival showed each of the different parts of the diploma – campaign, scene, record, artefact and performance.
It was a chance for the students to show the rest of the school the work they have been doing, from creating advertisement campaigns to music videos and making masks. There was also an opportunity for other youngsters to try out the “green screen”, a special effects technique that uses a green backdrop.
Pupils from other classes got the opportunity to go around the festival in the afternoon and give feedback on the different stalls.
This is the last year the diploma will run but media courses will still run at Cromwell.
