Children at Beaupre Primary School had a day of Easter fun and games on Wednesday as they prepared to break up for the school holidays.
The youngsters made Easter bonnets which were showed off in a special parade. Two winners were chosen from each class and the top hats received Easter eggs.
Children also decorated eggs at home which were brought into school for a friendly competition.
Then in the afternoon, there was much hilarity in the playground as they took part in traditional egg rolling – not as easy as it sounds!
A spokesperson from the school said: “The children really enjoyed it and had a great time.”
The event was organised by the Beaupre Fundraising Group, otherwise known as the BFG.
