Retirement of TA Pam Holmes with Yaer 6 pupils at Friday Bridge School

A much-loved teaching assistant has retired from Friday Bridge Primary School.

Pam Holmes has been at the school for almost 29 years and was honoured at a special assembly on Tuesday.

Pam has worked with all age groups during her time at the school and staff said over the years, many children have benefited from her kindness, wisdom and experience.

At the assembly, Pam received cards, flowers and gift vouchers. She then joined staff and governors for afternoon tea.

She is looking forward to enjoying her retirement and spending more time with her family.
