A March headteacher is bidding farewell to her school after eight years.

Rachel Beeson (pictured) leaves All Saints Academy tomorrow (Thursday) to take up a post with the Diocese of Ely.

It will be bittersweet for Mrs Beeson, who is sad to be leaving but excited about her new challenge. The school will say goodbye at a special Eucharist service.

“I am ever so sad to leave All Saints,” she said. “It has been such a huge part of my life. All Saints is a very special school. But this is an exciting opportunity and I’m looking forward to it.”

Mrs Beeson will become the deputy diocesan director of education (school effectiveness). Her job will be two-fold, supporting all church schools in the diocese and working with those who are moving into the diocesan multi-academy trust.
