Local artist and author Richard Savage recently made a guest appearance at Cromwell Community College.

He talked to Gifted and Talented students in English and Art about how to get their work in the public eye as well as delivering a writing and art workshop.

The event was very successful and students enjoyed getting help from someone so established in the industry.

Richard talked to the students about his latest book “Beauty in Every Form” which explores the concept that everyone is naturally beautiful. He also aided students with their art work to help develop their techniques.

Gifted and Talented co-ordinator Diane Redman, who organised the event, said: “This was such a positive message to give to the students. In current times, with size zero models, it was refreshing for the students to see a different idea of what beauty is. Richard delivered an excellent session and all students took something away from the event.”
