A consultation meeting, to discuss the proposed conversion of March’s Neale-Wade Community College into an Academy, is being held at the Wimblington Road school with members of the college’s sponsors on November 27 at 6.30pm.
The aim is to give parents, carers, local businesses and any other interested parties the chance to discuss the conversion process and listen to proposals from sponsors, The Active Learning Trust.
College principal Jason Wing said Clive Bush, the chief executive, and Mr Gary Peile, director of operations, will be attending.
“I am excited about working with the trust as they are a highly experienced group of educationalists with a proven track record in school improvement. We are already making progress at the College and this was confirmed by last summer’s examination results and the recent Ofsted monitoring visit and I am confident that The Active Learning Trust will assist us in our quest to be a good and then outstanding school,” said Mr Wing.
