Youngsters at Thomas Eaton Primary School gave their all in their Christmas production.
Every child, from nursery to Year 6, took part in the all-singing-and-dancing play ‘Prickly Hay’, which is described as an “exciting Nativity with a fun hoe-down flavour”.
The story follows Sam the stable boy and his best friend Little Shrew as they welcome Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus. And the catchy country and western soundtrack had everyone’s feet tapping along.
Deputy head and Year 2 teacher Jade Betts said: “All the children performed and they have 100 per cent. They were fantastic and we’re very proud of them.”
The children performed four times, giving one show to the community and three sell-out shows to parents.
