Sandie will be a star at the open farm Sunday at the Cambridge campus of the College of West Anglia on Sunday, June 9.
She’s a seven-year-old Chestnut Mare which the college bought to specifically to teach vaulting, likened to gymnastics on horseback and a fast-growing accepted equestrian sport.
It will be the first time Sandie has performed in public and joins the campus having been trained by the British vaulting team.
The college is enjoying an increased uptake for the vaulting academy it is now running, with equine staff Jade Gouchy and Becky Farncombe attracting students across a wide age range.
The display by the vaulting team takes place during the open day, from 10am to 2pm, and will prove a new and exciting attraction for hundreds of visitors to the campus at Milton.
