Student Callum Johnson is aiming for another national award in the motor industry.
Earlier this year the 17-year-old came fourth in the Worldskills awards, in which his skills at vehicle painting war recognised.
And now he has been told he has been shortlisted for the final three outstanding achievers in a competition organised by the Institute of the Motor Industry.
His successes have delighted the College of West Anglia where he was a student at the Isle campus in Wisbech before landing a job with town garage Pride and Joy.
Bob Whalley, his lecturer and mentor at the college, said Callum, from Wimblington, would attend his latest awards ceremony, to be held at the end of this month.
It will be held on October 31 at Fanshaws, a Jacobean-style conference centre in Hertfordshire, which is the home of the IMI.
He is in the category for outstanding technical student – paint.
One of the highlights of the event will be an address from HRH Prince Michael of Kent, who will later present the awards.
