Land on the outskirts of Cambridge is going to become a “battleground” in the summer.
Students from uniformed services courses in Cambridge, Wisbech and King’s Lynn will compete in a competition run by the College of West Anglia at its campus at Milton.
Around 200 students will take part in the Uniformed Services Challenge Day on Wednesday, June 19, using the campus and farm land for the first time in competitions for trophies and prizes.
Among these will be an endurance event, tug-of-war, trail challenge and one called a modified gun run.
The college’s programme manager Lee Mallott, said it was hoped it would raise the profile of the uniformed services course in the Cambridge area.
