A flatbed lorry was torched in Elm last night (Thursday).

Two fire crews from Wisbech were called to Oldfield Avenue at 11.55pm and found the lorry, which was on a driveway, well alight.

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to extinguish it and returned to their stations by 1.05am.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
