Cambridgeshire Libraries are hosting a number of events this month as part of the Family Learning Festival.

The festival is an annual awareness campaign organised by the Campaign for Learning and promotes and supports family learning events across the country.

Events within Cambridgeshire Libraries include craft events with either children’s book illustrator Marion Lindsay or local artist Marian Savill.

Tuesday (October 29), March Library, 10.30am – 12pm with Marian Savill.

Cambridgeshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Education and Learning Councillor David Harty said “The festival aims to draw attention to the importance of family and friends in forming attitudes towards learning. We’d really encourage families to come along to the free events we’re holding, learning together as a family can lead to powerful benefits for both children and their parents and guardians.”

All the events are free and more information can be found at www.cambridgeshire.net
