A community transport charity has had a welcome boost thanks to a £500 donation.

FACT, the Fenland Association for Community Transport, has received the money from The Wisbech Masonic Trust from its Benevolent Fund.

Trust chairman David Bays said: “This is a very good community project which does a lot of good for people and we are pleased to support it.”

The cheque is the latest in a number of donations from the trust recently, including £450 to pay for repairs to Wisbech’s Robert Hall Centre and £500 to the Wisbech Sea Cadets to help them buy a new rowing boat.
