Three Fenland firms have raised £1,200.88 for young hospital patients during their annual fundraising Christmas party.

Alibulk, of Wisbech, TAM Engineering Services, based in Leverington, and Truckweld, of Gorefield, joined forces during their “spanners and sparks” party, which was held at Emneth Central Hall.

Representatives from two of the companies went to Rudham Ward at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn on Thursday to present the cheque.

The money, which was raised through donations and raffles, will go towards buying equipment and a selection of toys for children with special needs.
