ORGANISERS of March Summer Festival scheduled for next weekend have issued an urgent SOS to hot food traders.
The committee is calling for quality registered food vendors, who can provide nourishing meals that are different to the usual fish and chips or hog roast to attend the three-day event which starts on Friday June 8.
Rodney Crabb, of the organising committee, explained: “We have our usual vendors attending but also had hot potato and pasty stalls lined up but have now been told that they can’t make it.
“We are trying to find out if any local takeaway providers might be able to help fill the gap at the Festival”.
The 12th annual March Summer Festival takes place from June 8 to 10 in West End Park. Any food providers able to help should email firstname.lastname@example.org.
This year the organisers have managed to secure a performance by Think Floyd, the UK’s number one Pink Floyd tribute band for the Saturday evening, whhich promises to be one of the highlights of the festival.
