A traditional garden fete on the village green in Manea has raised more than £550 for the parish church.

Stalls and games provided fun for all the family on Saturday afternoon, with plenty to choose from. There were cakes and plants for sale, fruit and vegetables and knick-knacks. There were also refreshments and sideshow games.

A best dressed bicycle competition unfortunately only attracted one entry, but it was a worthy winner.

Oliver (9) and Jessica Stanbridge (12) and Maggie Powell (12) created a Jolly Roger bicycle, complete with a sail, that rightly took the top prize.
