Atelier East’s Young Curators Forum heard many memories and stories of Wisbech when they held an interview session.
People were invited to Wisbech Museum to talk about their memories and how they feel about the changes to Wisbech in the last 100 years for the Young Curators Forum’s heritage exhibition.
Brandon Mattless, Lead Curator said, “This interview session went great and our interviewees had lots to tell us. During the interview we reunited some long lost friends who are now in their 80’s and went to school together.”
The project is funded by HLF. The Young Curators Forum got together in November 2011, a group of Young People who are all interested in photography, journalism and history, to create a new photographic archive and record peoples stories so the local history could be saved.
They have all worked hard and dedicated their time to the project and can’t wait to share the exhibition in March 2013 at Wisbech Museum and the touring exhibition which will travel Fenland.
