MARCH schools have benefited from some free equipment, presented by Tesco.
The four schools – Burrowmoor, Westwood, Maple Grove and Cavalry – have been given some free craft equipment after taking part in the supermarket giant’s voucher scheme.
Unfortunately, Maple Grove could not attend the presentation on Friday, but representatives from the other three schools were presented with their boxes of equipment by MP Steve Barclay and March store manager Paul Savory.
The boxes contained craft equipment, such as supplies, puppets and beads. Maple Grove will be presented with their box in due course.
The Tesco for Schools and Clubs scheme is a hugely successful scheme that has been running for several years. Shoppers collect vouchers that are handed into schools and clubs across the country. The vouchers are then exchanged for equipment, such as sports and computer equipment.
