FRIDAY BRIDGE: Young pedestrian injured in incident with car

A young girl suffered a serious leg injury after being involved in an incident with a car.

The Magpas Helimedix team was called to Friday Bridge at around 5pm yesterday (Tuesday). Doctor Jon Birks and paramedic Simon Standen arrived by rapid response BMW.

They assessed the young girl and administered strong pain relief before accompanying her in a land ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. On arrival at the hospital, the patient was in a stable condition.

An EEAST Ambulance Crew and Cambridgeshire Police were also on the scene.
