The event is being held in the Council Chamber at Fenland Hall, March, next Thursday (June 11), 10am-1pm.
Care Network Cambridgeshire will be among the 12 organisations that provide services for older people who will be taking part. Others include Age UK, Community Navigators, Macmillan, Breathe Easy Fenland and Healthwatch Cambridgeshire.
The event coincides with Carers Week, an annual national campaign to raise awareness of caring and highlight the challenges that carers face.
n The following Sunday (June 14), the Golden Age team will be teaming up with New Vision Fitness staff at Chatteris Leisure for another Silver Sunday “Give it a Go” day of free activities for the over-50s.
Activities will run from noon-4pm. They include New Age Kurling and table cricket (2-4pm), chair-based fitness exercises (12.15-12.45pm) and Pilates (1-1.45pm).
