The organisers of this year’s 51st Gorefield Show have reported a good turn out of visitors and competitors, despite Saturday’s chilly weather.
Show secretary Jo Mitchell said at least there was no rain but equally it would have been nice to have seen some sunshine.
Entries were good for the heavy horses and pony events and the stallholders were also kept busy.
The amount raised from the event is still being sorted out and the money raised is ploughed back into supporting a whole host of village causes.
The show on the Wolf Lane playing field comprised many attractions including vintage vehicles, falcons, entertainment for the children and adults and a flypast.
