The Friends of Ferguson Heritage raised £967 for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital breast screening unit.

The cheque was presented at their weekend Ploughing Match at Southery yesterday (Sun 15 Sept). Cheque was presented by Margaret Lloyd (79) of Walpole Cross Keys (sitting on tractor), whose partner Leonard Cullen (also 79) is a champion ploughman. Mrs Lloyd was treated at the QEH for breast cancer three years ago. The money was raised by the Friends during a sponsored tractor rally around Ely in April.
