The East Anglian Air Ambulance has received a donation of £500 from the Wisbech Masonic Benevolent Fund.

The donation was made in appreciation of a recent visit by members and their guests from the two masonic lodges in Wisbech to the Queen’s Stud at Sandringham.

They were given a very enjoyable and informative tour by Joe Grimwade, the stud manager. The cheque was presented by John Groom on behalf of the trustees of the Benevolent Fund to the East Anglian Air Ambulance at their “Meet the Helicopter and Crew” day at Sandringham on Saturday.

Trustee Bob Kidger said they make several donations each year to various organisations and that they were very pleased to be able to support the East Anglian Air Ambulance who provide such an essential service to the community.
