IT is set to get a little spooky down at the RSPCA Block Fen Animal Centre in Wimblington, later this month when staff host a weekend of Halloween fun.
The event will be held on 29 and 30 October at the centre and an array of fun activities including competition and games have been lined up.
The centre will be holding a photographic competition and are urging visitors to send in photos of their cats in their natural environment.
The public, who visit over the Halloween event, will then be asked to vote for their favourite photo.
The entry fee for the competition is £1 and the photos can either be dropped off at the centre in Block Fen Drove, Wimblington, March, PE15 0FB or sent to them by post.
All photos must be sent in by the closing date, which is October 27.
The public will be asked to pay 20p to take part in the judging, and all the money raised from the event will go straight back into helping all the animals at the centre.
Kirstyn Gaunt, deputy manager said: “We thought that the photographic competition would be a fun way to raise money for the centre, and people get to show off their photographic skills.
“Halloween is notoriously linked with black cats of which we currently have plenty looking for new homes so we hope lots of people will pop along to the centre during our event and have some fun and perhaps even consider adopting an animal.”
