Have a Valentine’s Day with a difference

Local disability charity Papworth Trust is searching for couples in Wisbech who want a Valentine’s Day with a difference.

It is offering an exhilarating skydive for thrill seeking couples to do together, or individually to impress a loved one.

The Trust, which supports over 20,000 people each year, will hold the exciting tandem skydive event at Sibson Airfield in Peterborough on 16 February 2013.

“Why not try something different this Valentine’s Day?” said Annette Angell, fundraising manager at Papworth Trust.

“Jumpers will enjoy an incredible 13,000 foot jump in tandem with an experienced instructor, while taking in breathtaking views across the scenic Cambridgeshire countryside.

“Raise £600 sponsorship to jump together, or raise £350 to go it alone to impress your sweetheart.

“The skydive experience will include a before and after photo taken by a professional photographer, as well as a free gift.”

All profits raised from the skydive event will pay for essential services for disabled people, such as youth clubs for disabled teenagers and centres to provide leisure and learning opportunities.

The skydive will take place on Saturday 16 February at Sibson Airfield, Peterborough, PE8 6NE.

Couples taking part will need to raise £600 sponsorship, and individuals will need to raise £350 sponsorship.
