Events are being held for present and former drug users across Cambridgeshire in support of national Recovery Month.
The highlight being organised by the Cambridgeshire Safer Communities Partnership Team will be its first Recovery Event, which will be held on June 18 at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge.
This will be interactive and motivational session, and will include keynote speeches, work-shops and individual accounts of recovery.
Cambridgeshire Safer Communities Partnership Team – part of the County Council - is supporting recovery alongside the Adult and Young People’s Drug Treatment Services and service user groups across Cambridgeshire.
Other events happening throughout the month include the following in Fenland:
* DHIVerse; the HIV and sexual health charity, support groups running on Saturday mornings throughout the month, from the Inclusion Wisbech office, the former Council Offices, Church Terrace, Wisbech.
* 26 June - Open Day at the Inclusion Wisbech Service 10am to 1pm in the former Council Offices, Church Terrace, Wisbech.
