A PATIENT participation group at a March doctors surgery is trying to get more people involved.
The PPG at the Cornerstone Practice was recently set up to raise money for new equipment but have struggled to get word out about their activities.
A recent car boot sale raised £116 and a stall has been arranged at Trinity Church, March, on September 10, from 8am to 1pm.
But the group is not just about raising money for the surgery. It is there to inform patients about changes at the practice.
Regular newsletters have kept patients updated on the new appointment system, which involves appointments being booked in advance and more urgent appointment requests going through a triage system with medical staff at the practice.
The newsletters also make patients aware of figures for missed appointments and on-going issues, such as problems with the car park.
