CAMQUIT, NHS Cambridgeshire’s free stop smoking service are launching new clinics from January 31 in Ramsey and March.

NHS Cambridgeshire want to support smokers to quit smoking with specialist stop smoking advisors who are based throughout Cambridgeshire. Nicotine replacement therapies are a prescription only cost when clients join the programme for support.

Claire Mead, CAMQUIT coordinator said: ‘Many people begin thinking and preparing to make a positive lifestyle change at the beginning of a New Year. In previous years we have noted that there is a significant increase in people accessing the stop smoking support services and therefore we are offering additional clinics during these busy times’.
