Councillors from the Norfolk Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (NHOSC) will this Thursday look at the King’s Lynn Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s action plan for improvement.
A representative from the hospital will present its Quality Improvement Plan to members and update them on the action taken so far. The Panel will then scrutinise the plan and ask questions.
The hospital has been instructed to formulate an action plan in response to concerns raised by the Care Quality Commission and Monitor after being placed in special measures last month.
The hospital was found to be below standard in a number of areas and the CQC required it to make improvements.
