The Horsefair Shopping Centre in Wisbech is holding its popular car boot again on Easter Monday (April 21).
The shopping centre is calling on the people of Wisbech to look through their cupboards and attics to find any items that they do not want anymore.
A pitch on the top floor car park costs £5 for a car, and £10 with a trailer. All funds raised from the car boot sale will be donated to Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a local charity that helps the families of men and women who lost their lives whilst serving in the armed forces.
The event will run from 8am until 1pm, those selling items are encouraged to set up from 7am. The car boot is free to enter for buyers and unrestricted parking will be available on the ground floor of the car park.
Kevin Smith, manager of the Horsefair shopping centre, said: “Our car boot sale is not only a great way to help raise funds for a local charity who do some fantastic work, but is also a good way for people to make some money by selling items they may have forgotten they even have. At our past car boot sales, people have unearthed some real treasures and been surprised by how much money they made.”
The Horsefair’s Easter car boot sale has so far received a lot of interest and many pitches have already been booked. To reserve a space please phone 01945-584109 or visit the Kodak shop at the shopping centre.
