Families are invited to take part in an online survey this spring to find out how they like to spend their spare time together.
Tydd St Giles Golf & Country Club wants to discover what 21st century families do to fill their weekends.
Adrian Hurst, Managing Director of Tydd St Giles Golf & Country Club, explained: “A recent YouGov poll for the National Trust found that children aged eight to 11 and their parents wanted to spend more time together preferably outdoors and away from the television.
“We’re keen to find out more and do our own online survey to discover exactly what families like doing outside in the open air.
“At Tydd St Giles we like people to enjoy lots of good old-fashioned outdoor activities such as fishing, walking and, coming soon, archery sessions.”
Adrian added: “We’re really keen to find out what families enjoy doing in their spare time and it doesn’t matter if they don’t do it here at Tydd we’d just like to get a snapshot of what the current trend is for leisure pursuits.”
People can submit their entries via Facebook at www.facebook.com/TyddStGilesGolf.
Those who wish to be entered for a free draw to win a weekend stay for a family of four at the site in October 2013, excluding the half-term school break, will be asked to leave their contact details.
These will be kept as per data protection regulations and will not be shared with other organisations.
The closing date for all submissions is midnight on May 31, 2013.
