THE Co-operative Food has launched an in-store home delivery service to shoppers living in and around Chatteris.
People in the area can have shopping delivered free to their door, if they spend £25 or more on groceries and everyday essentials in The Co-operative Food stores on Bridge Street, Chatteris.
Chatteris Store Manager, Graham Arthur, said: “This service is ideal for people who like to visit our store to do their shopping, but who don’t fancy carrying it all the way home.
“Lots of shoppers like to go into a store and get ideas for what to make for dinner that evening. This service allows people to do that, and it gives them the opportunity to pick out their own fresh ingredients, but it simply removes the stress of getting it all home.”
The service will operate each day, with shoppers able to choose two-hour delivery slots. Deliveries can be made to properties within a eight mile radius of the store.
Customers spending under £25 in store will also be able to benefit from the service, for a charge of just £3.
