Glennfield Care Centre in Wisbech, in partnership with the College of West Anglia, Papworth Trust and Wisbech Lions, is planning an information day on Thursday May 9 at Glennfield Care Centre.
This is a joint venture to promote local services, primarily aimed at families and people looking to become involved in care of the elderly as a resident, volunteer or career goal.
By linking these four organisations informally, the organisers hope to benefit many people of all age groups and promote greater awareness of community links.
Glennfield Care Centre is an 81-bed purpose-built care home in Money Bank, providing
residential and nursing care for older people and for younger people, under 65, with Early Onset Dementia needs.
College of West Anglia is one of the largest and most successful education and training providers in the region.
The Papworth Trust is a leading disability charity to support disabled people to have
equality, choice and independence in their lives.
The local lions regularly visit Glennfield to take residents out for a pub lunch. The organisation raises money to support local causes and individuals.
If you want to book a stand at the information day contact Amanda Scott or Katie Doiley at
Glennfield Care Centre on 01945 581141 for a booking form.
