Former Wisbech couple Dave and Angela Dawes, who hit the headlines two years ago when they won £101 million on the EuroMillions, have reportedly split up.

National media has this week carried stories alleging the win has lead to a rift between them over how to spend their fortune.

One national paper has alleged former factory supervisor Dave (49) has moved out of the couple’s Surrey mansion.

At a press conference announcing the win, the couple said they would be making some of their friends millionaires. They were also looking at property in Chelsea as Dave was a big Chelsea football fan.

Angela (46) was a former local taxi driver and was a volunteer at the Wisbech British Heart Foundation shop at the time of the win.

Dave and Angela married within a couple of months of their win, which was the fourth biggest in Britain.

Only a few days ago, another EuroMillions couple from Suffolk who netted £148 million last year, announced they are to divorce.
