NATIONAL ‘In Bloom’ judges will be in Chatteris on July 9 taking a look at the town’s entry for this year’s prestigious competition.
They are due to arrive at 1.30pm meeting at Bridge House and route will take them to Bridge Street to view the completed Cart Project, on to Honeysome Raod Industrial Estate to look at the allotments before moving to the old railway line and then the King Edward Centre.
From there the visitors will head for Meeks Cemetery and on to Glebelands Primary School to see the environmental pond and growing area.
At Market Hill they will be shown the memorial flower display for Anne Geary, the district council floral displays and beds, Barclays Bank and the hanging baskets.
They will walk on to Emmanuel Church to the planting display and then the parish church via High Street to see the new improvements.
The tour finishes at the Church Lane car park and the Town Council office and museum.
