THE family of Jamie Butcher, who was killed by a dangerous driver, are holding a fundraising Jumble Sale on Saturday (June 16) for the charity RoadPeace.
The jumble sale is from 10am to 4pm at Onyx Court sheltered housing complex, Norfolk Street in Wisbech.
There will be stalls including books, DVDs, a lucky dip, children’s clothes, home-made cards etc.
It is being organised by Jamie’s mum, Tina Butcher, and step-dad Steve Green.
Jamie (22) died last year. He stepped on to the pelican crossing at Churchill Road, Wisbech, when he was struck by car driver, Michael Moore, of Parson Drove, who was travelling at almost double the speed limit.
Moore was sentenced to 43 months’ imprisonment in April of this year.
The national charity RoadPeace helps road crash victims and their families and campaigns for improved road safety and appropriate sentencing.
