Parson Drove wildlife seminar

Organised by Froglife with support from Fenland Council’s Street Pride team, the two-hour event will be held at Parson Drove Village Hall on Saturday, May 7, from 10am.

It will introduce participants to the River Nene Dragon Finder project and help them improve their own green spaces in ways that will encourage all forms of wildlife, especially amphibians and reptiles.

The workshop will include practical tips on creating ponds, wildflower areas and log piles and is suitable for families with children aged six and over.

Around 30 people attended a similar event last summer, which was held at the Norwood Road Nature Reserve in March.

For more information on the workshop contact Froglife’s James McAdie on 01733 602102 or email: james.mcadie@froglife.org or Rebecca Robinett at Fenland Council on 01354 654321 or email: rrobinett@fenland.gov.uk
