SPECTACLES as affordable fashion accessories - that’s the focus of Selby & Taylor Opticians.

Following the success of its March branch, the opticians is now opening a second branch at 42 High Street, Chatteris.

Owner Bill Kalsi says: “From our feedback and fantastic response of our existing customers it seems that our concept of making necessity into an affordable fashion accessory is working very well.”

At Selby & Taylor Opticians a complete set of spectacles (including frame and standard single vision lenses) will cost from £45 onwards. With their new designer range including Gucci, Fendi, Hugo Boss and many more, you can have the latest designer frames at an affordable price, starting at just £125 onwards (including single vision lenses).

Selby & Taylor Opticians will be run by clinical director Kavi Kotecha (Optometrist) and Mr Kalsi’s son, Maninder Kalsi, who both studied at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. Both work alongside each other to ensure patients receive the best quality eyecare.

The business will provide a full optical service). In addition to this, they have a DVLA approved visual field screener, a digital retinal camera (to take photographs of your eye health), an in-depth glaucoma review and their experienced members of staff, Suky and Kirti, will assist you in choosing frames.

A feature of Selby & Taylor Opticians is a dedicated children’s clinic, available to children from the age of two years onwards. With our small play area and children’s colouring packs, parents can have their sight test done whilst your children wait in the play area. Remember children under 16 years of age are eligible for a free sight test under the NHS.

There will also be a hearing centre on the premises, run by qualified audiologist Carol Beecher, which will provide free hearing tests.

The new branch is being opened by Fenland MP Steve Barclay at 3pm on May 27. To celebrate, we have 30 free sight tests to give away.

To be in with a chance of winning, answer the following question: What Fenland town is the new branch opening in?
