THE third and final qualifying round is being staged in early October in the search for the Fenland Child of 2011.
This is the last chance for parents to bring their youngsters along to the former Westgate store in Church Terrace which is now a Beales Department Store.
The competition usually has four rounds with the final round being held in the town of March. However, due to the closure of the March Westgate Store in the summer, the round at Wisbech will be the final qualifier.
Photographers Premier Promotions will be at the Wisbech store from October 4 to 8 waiting to take pictures of your youngsters.
Parents from all areas of Fenland are being urged to visit the store between 10am and 4pm Tuesday to Friday and 10am to 3pm on the Saturday (October 8).
We are looking for the last three children to make up the grand finalists.
The categories are: Best baby 0-18 months; best boy 18 months to five years; and best girl 18 months to five years.
Premier Promotions will select the finalists for each category and the selected photographs. Parents will be given a date by Premier Promotions to come back to the store to view the photographs and select the photograph of their child they would like entered into the competition.
Citizen readers will then be asked to vote for their three favourites to go through to the final, which will be held later in the year.
Category winners each receive a 20x16 framed canvas texture portrait from Premier Promotions worth £180.
Up for grabs for the overall winner is a £500 holiday voucher prize generously donated by Co-operative Travel who are based in the Church Terrace store.
