Pirate day for Year 4 pupils at St Peter's School, Wisbech.

Pirate day for Year 4 pupils at St Peter's School, Wisbech.

Pupils at Wisbech St Peter’s School swapped their uniforms for eye patches, hooks and fearsome cutlasses when they enjoyed a day of piratical fun.

Activities ranged from a treasure hunt around the school grounds following clues given in riddles, as well as making pirate hats and writing poems and stories with a swashbuckling theme.

The day was part of a week of cross-curriculum activities as part of this term’s Year 4 topic of stories in historical settings.
