Wisbech St Mary Open Gardens, which every year raises money for charity, takes place on Saturday.
The event aims to showcase creative, inspiring village gardens to enthusiastic gardeners and visitors.
Th gardens will be open from 10-5pm, and all proceeds are going to the Thorpe Hall Hospice.
Most of the gardens are within easy walking distance of each other and range from large open landscapes to container and cottage gardens. The range includes fruit and vegetable plots, wild flower garden, a collection of over 300 cacti and succulents, online weather station, ponds and water features, hens, fish and the garden which has won Wisbech in Bloom Containers for four years as well as the Cottage Garden category in 2013.
Visitors should look for the gardens displaying a large orange flower.
Entry to all ten gardens is £3 and tickets are available at any garden, and admission for under-16s is free.
Refreshments are available at most gardens from morning coffee, lunch with homemade pizza cooked on a wood-fired outdoor oven, savoury delights to scrumptious home-made cakes and afternoon teas.
Free programmes with a map are available from the Tourist Information Centre, Library, Etcetera in Wisbech, Long Acre Garden Centre, Else Furniture & Store, Bisla Convenience Store and JS Holmes in Wisbech St Mary and at all participating gardens, located on High Road, Station Road, St Mary’s Close and off Churchfield Way.
