Breaking news: body found at campus

The body of a man was found early this morning just beyond the boundary of the rear of the College of West Anglia’s Isle campus in Wisbech.

Police were called and are dealing with the situation.

A college spokesman said: Although formal identification has not yet taken place, we do not believe the man is connected to the college.”

A police spokesman added: “Officers are currently at the scene of a sudden death on land just beyond the boundary fence at the rear of the College of West Anglia campus in Ramnoth Road, Wisbech. The body of a man was discovered at just after 7.30am. The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
