Chatteris Cats Protection charity hopes Citizen readers can help some of its animals looking for good homes.
Zippy, a black and white male, is one of many cats the charity has awaiting a new family. The two-year-old loves to play and is an ideal pet for a family with older children as he is not keen on very young children.
Six-year-old Sidney is extremely cuddly and affectionate. He can be homed on his own or with Gizzy, a five-year-old tortoiseshell, but would prefer not to live with another cat unless it is Gizzy.
Gizzy also enjoys a fuss but on her terms, so an older family used to cats would be ideal.
Five-year-old Blossom would like a home with no other cats as she likes to be centre of attention with her owner.
Someone who is at home a lot would be perfect.
All cats have been checked by a vet, fully vaccinated, chipped, neutered if over four-months-old and treated for fleas and worms.
A charity spokesman said: “All we ask for is an adoption fee which does not cover all of the above but goes towards it, so if people feel able to donate on top of this we are grateful.”
Details of all cats available and adoption fees can be found at: www.chatteris.cats.org.uk/ or by ringing the charity on 0845 647 2180.
