Donation is the cat’s whiskers
559.25 cheque presentation from Dominic Baker 467512 Manager of Pets at Home Wisbech to Lindsay Kierman of Croft House Cat Sanctuary
Wisbech Pets at Home made a ‘purrfect’ gift to help a local cat sanctuary look after its felines.
Store manager Dominic Baker presented a cheque for £559.25 to Lindsay Kierman of Croft House Cat Sanctuary on Thursday.
The money was raised in the run up to Christmas when Pets at Home ran its Santa Paws appeal where customers were asked to either donate via a collection tin or by rounding up the price of their purchases to the nearest pound.
Dominic explained the pet chain likes to support local animal sanctuaries and re-homing groups and so the money was split between Croft House and the Wisbech-based Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue, who will be receiving £279.63.
