Dragons came to life for youngsters during a story session.
A total of 20 children enjoyed a craft and story session at Chatteris Library. Librarians organised the event to coincide with the mythical maze reading challenge, which encourages youngsters to pick up a book during the summer holidays. Community library assistant Julie Smith read the story of a dragon who went to school. Youngsters were then able to make their own dragon puppets. Mrs Smith said: “We had some beautiful dragons. We had some girly ones with rosettes, along with some very fierce looking dragons. We had a lovely time.”
