The East Anglian Air Ambulance has now been cleared for take-off after being grounded earlier today (Thursday).

The charity’s two aircraft, which fly from Cambridge and Norwich, were grounded over safety fears after a similar helicopter crashed into a pub in Scotland and another developed an ‘indication defect’.

However the grounding was only temporary and the Eurocopter EC 135 helicopters were cleared to fly this afternoon.
