Flying displays and fair rides were all part of the fun enjoyed at the annual Wimblington Fun Day.
An estimated 400 people went along to the event to enjoy a tour around the variety of stalls which were set up on the War Memorial Field on Sunday.
One of the people behind the event is parish council chairman Maureen Davis. She said: “It went really well despite the fact that we were expected to have heavy rain showers.
“It was a hectic afternoon but very enjoyable.”
Fancy dress for youngsters and running races were some of the activities on offer – along with demonstrations of Tai Kwondo and the Raptor Foundation.
Manea Silver Band helped the event to get off to the right note.
Plus there was a host of fun fair rides and stalls.
Entertainment on the day was funded by local businesses including Knowles Transport, Fengrain and Tesco.
