New statistics show that house prices have risen by more than five per cent.

C Carters, which is based in Bridge Street, Wisbech, has revealed new data which shows that the average asking price in East Anglia reached a record breaking high in March at £265,115. In the last year the average asking price has increased by £13,596.

Kelly Kan, senior sales manager, said: “Property owners must be delighted that their homes have appreciated in value by £13,596 in the last year. It’s also good motivation for buyers to get involved in the market in East Anglia as signs indicate prices will keep rising.”
